What is a B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated degree?
If you are inclined towards teaching technical and applied science subjects, a B.Sc. B.Ed. integrated degree is an excellent option for you. Students can pursue this programme right after finishing their 10+2 board exams in the P.C.M. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics stream). You are not eligible to pursue a B.Sc. B.Ed. if you studied commerce or humanities in 10+2. A B.Sc. B.Ed. is a combined dual degree which includes B.Sc. and B.Ed. B.Sc. is an undergraduate degree programme in the science discipline. It stands for Bachelor of Science. While a B.Ed. stands for Bachelor of Education. It can only be pursued after successful completion of an undergraduate degree programme.
B.Sc. B.Ed. Eligibility Criteria
10+2 |
Candidates who have completed their 10+2 in the following subject streams can apply – P.C.M. (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) and P.C.B. (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) |
Cut-off Marks |
The cut-offs for the general category usually range between 45 to 55% and between 40 to 50% for SC/ST. |
Age Limit |
There is no upper age limit. |
Any candidate who has not taken their 10+2 exams in P.C.M. or P.C.B. before the admission date is not eligible to apply for the course.
B.Sc B.Ed Admission Process
Each college follows their own admission process. However, here is the generalised application process for this course.
Stage 1: Fill the online application and appear in the written exam.
Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling.
Stage 3: Pay the fee and gain admission.
